So now after roghly 17 months, after the intimidation at the polls, calling anyone who opposed Obama a racist, after the 7 years of Bush bashing, the hatred, the crying and whining….hows it feel Obama supporters?
How does it feel to have been lied to, to see that change wasnt really for you at all. That what his agenda really is. I should be laughing at your ignorance for supporting someone for color instead of qualifications but instead I am just sad for our country. I would never say” I am finally proud to be American or proud of my country” because I am always an American and always proud of her people. I wonder how the rest of you feel now….

For the record, I did not vote for Obama or campaign for him.

Yes, it is time to be Americans again-
contrary to the past 8
years of manipulation, intimidations, retaliations, and misuse of authority and trust of high officials.

When Bush entered office he had my support. It took a great deal to destroy that support. Now he is leaving office.

The new president, has my support until he abuses his position excessively, if that should take place.

The notion that there are two Americas,
that half the citizens are “the enemy”
in order to manipulate the other half
is bad for our nation and people.
We need to drop that.

Listen or read McCain’s concession speech which is pure McCain, and absolutely pure American, and you get the heading to steer by.

1-The President of the Country has nothing to do with the elections process. That would be in the hands of you state Secretary of State or similar position. You might want to know what the President of your country does.

2-I hear a lot from Obama supporters and Obama that we are in this together and this will be a bipartisan effort. Is it just me or does everyone expect the conservatives to reach accross the aisle? Bipartisan means that both parties work together. The differences will be there. I am not going to abandon my beliefs because Obama wants us to do this together, the same way I don’t expect you or any other citizen to abandon their beliefs.

The beauty of this country is that we can all have different ideas. We can then debate about these ideas and learn from eachother. Debate also sparks an individual to research and obtain knowledge; that is the essence of debate. Additionally, that is the true meaning of bipartisanship and what the First Amendment is meant to protect. Abandoning my beliefs because the one in power says I should become one with his plan is called a Theocracy. I encourage you to start your own blog or something similar to enlighten those who are in search of knowledge or entertainment. I would love to hear about your political or personal beliefs; it will make me a better person.

3-Time to be Americans again? When did we stop? Did you renounce your citizenship? This talking point is ridiculous free from any logic.

I saw your blog and thought it worth a remark.

The election frauds of this (bush)administration harmed our nation and democratic process.

No matter how rabid a supporter of the Republican party, or
of the Bush administration, we are Americans, and we stand together or fall together.

McCain could not overcome the harmful effects of the last 8 years. He is a good man.

It is time to be Americans again.

Lets move forward together and put the years of devisions
behind us for our own survival and because in hard times, the American Spirit can and does rise to the occasion as neighbors.

So neighbor, fellow American, we are in this together, let’s
do our best in our best spirit to address the problems we face and pull together.
