Second Bill of Rights
October 28, 2008Further to what Reagan21 wrote below; Soon, “rich” will be $90,000 and we can all be equal. There is no way we can afford this Second Bill of Rights. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), the woman who Joe the Plumber may run against, said this in Toledo, OH:
U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D. Toledo) whipped the crowd up before Mr. Obama took the stage yesterday telling them that America needed a Second Bill of Rights guaranteeing all Americans a job, health care, homes, an education, and a fair playing field for business and farmers.
1. GUARANTEED a job – this means either that the Government hires everyone into crap jobs or employers will be penalized for not hiring folk.
2. GUARANTEED health care – socialized medicine
3. GUARANTEED home – will break the bank
4. GUARANTEED education – this means college folks
5. GUARANTEED fair playing field – overegulation
Joe the Plumber better do his job in 2010 and get her out of office.

A Second Bill of Rights reminds me of the speech of every 5th grade candidate for Student Body President. “Who wants limos instead of buses? Do you want ice cream with every meal? How about a 2 hour recess?” Of course that sounds delightful on paper, but is it feasible or efficient? When will society learn that dependency on government is the worse crutch to lean on. Autonomy my friends, autonomy.
God help the U.S.. Between the radical 60′s generation and the upcoming generation who feel that they shouldn’t have to work for anything, who knows how our country is going to turn out. All the blood spilled to keep us free was for nothing. And there is nothing we can do to stop it.
You guys are pretty disgusting. To be against the expansion of the peoples right is just… I don’t know any word for it. Because what FDR said wasn’t a bill it was a general frame work that could have been incorporated several ways. Anything that expands my freedom and rights as a human being. I am for and I don’t see the clear connection between Obama and the second bill of rights, because it doesn’t match up.
